Hermane Desorme is a Haitian fashion designer, poet and filmmaker, born in Jacmel, south-east Haiti, in 1988

2015 - Collective photo exhibition NOS HISTOIRES, in French Guyana, organised by Chantier du Sud.

2014/2015 - Documentary film writing residency in French Guiana as part of the International Documentary Film Meeting of the Amazon-Caribbean zone, for "GADE!" and "Tambour nan won".

Two documentary film writing residencies at the FOKAL Foundation - Connaissance et Liberté - directed by the French director Anna Gignon

2012 - Collective sculpture exhibitions with Lissa Janot, Ronald Mevz, John Charles, at the Alliance Française in Jacmel, as well as at the Galerie Monin in Petion Ville.

2013 - 100% digital exhibition as part of the Africa-america centre's Europe fortnight.

2013 - Co-direction with Maxaens Denis of the short documentary film "Haiti royaume de ce monde", from the large International Exhibition of the same name.

2013 - Photographic exhibition, Périphérique, international meeting with 10 international photographers including Paolo Woods, Josue Azor, Ishola Kopola.

2010 - Hermane graduated from the cinema school in Jacmel CINE INSTITUTE

2009 - Artistic Director of the Zombi-Zombie show at the Ghetto Biennale Festival, the first art biennale in Haiti.

2008 - Sa w wè at the Transcultural Festival of the Africa-America Cultural Center in collaboration with Maxsaence Denis, Jenny Mezil and Douglas Ewards.

2008 - Herman joins the art centre of Jacmel FOSAJ where he realizes his first artistic performance of painting and sculpture, and accesses other types of artistic and professional training which leads him to participate in several collective exhibitions realized by the cultural centre.

Founder of the association Lakou, a cultural association for the defence of minority rights

2007 - Founder of the Zantray theatre group which became an important cultural centre in Jacmel, in the framework of which he co-directed with the team of the Alliance Française de Jacmel a show entitled "Tanbou nan won" about Haitian drums.
